Lien King serves as Vice President of Operations at Griffin Funding, where she leads the company’s nationwide mortgage operations—including processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, and operational workflow design.

With a reputation for precision, speed, and operational excellence, Lien ensures Griffin Funding delivers on its commitment to fast turn times, high-quality loan files, and a consistent 5-star borrower experience across all markets and products.

Lien’s responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing

  • Operational policy creation and workflow design

  • Pipeline management and turn-time optimization

  • Technology integration across Ops

  • Non-QM product execution (Bank Statement, DSCR, Asset-Based, FHA, VA)

  • Quality control and risk management

  • Operational readiness for new market expansion

  • Training and development across all levels of operations

Under Lien’s leadership, Griffin Funding has strengthened its Non-QM operational infrastructure, enhanced loan quality consistency, and improved cross-team alignment between Sales, Operations, and Capital Markets.

She plays a central role in integrating new technologies—such as LIA™, Griffin Funding’s AI-powered Non-QM Automated Underwriting System—and building operational systems that support the company’s scale while maintaining quality and compliance.

Known for her calm leadership style, deep mortgage expertise, and ability to solve complex operational challenges, Lien ensures Griffin Funding can scale efficiently as it moves toward its $3 billion annual loan volume objective.

Lien has more than a decade of experience in mortgage operations, including senior roles in processing, underwriting support, training, and workflow development. She holds advanced knowledge in Non-QM structuring, FHA/VA guidelines, and operational system design.

Outside of work, Lien enjoys travel, culinary exploration, and spending time with her family.
