Prior to joining Griffin Funding in March 2020, Charles worked with Quicken Loans as a banker specializing in refinancing VA and Jumbo Loans. He brought with him a work ethic and customer service level instilled by nearly a decade in fine dining.
“I worked with a lot of great people who helped shape who I have become and where I have landed. When I worked in restaurants, I had a friend and manager who preached that the main reason people return is the quality of the food and the experience a restaurant can provide. To add to that, I knew that the main reason people don’t become repeat clients is because of the service. That model has allowed me to be successful [in] making a transition into lending,” Charles explains.
“I do not work in sales; I work with people, and without delivering on the promises I make, my business model is hollow,” Charles says bluntly.
