From UCSD Graduate to Mortgage Veteran
Andre entered the mortgage industry in 2003, shortly after graduating from UC San Diego. Drawn by the fast-paced nature of real estate finance and the opportunity to help people achieve homeownership, he quickly discovered a natural talent for guiding clients through complex decisions. His strong communication skills, coupled with an ability to simplify complicated lending concepts, made him a standout early in his career.
Before joining Griffin Funding, Andre gained deep experience with FHA, conventional, and VA loans, successfully funding more than 400 transactions in these traditional categories. Over time, he saw the growing demand for alternative lending solutions designed for entrepreneurs, business owners, and property investors. That insight reshaped his career focus and paved the way for his specialization in non-QM products.
