PJ Vinal brings nearly a decade of real estate experience to every loan he originates. Before joining Griffin Funding, he worked as a Mortgage Loan Originator at Sage Home Loans and Guild Mortgage, and spent time as a Real Estate Operations & Acquisition Analyst at Legacy Wealth, where he sharpened his skills in financial analysis, deal structuring, and risk assessment. He got his start in the industry as an Assistant Property Manager with Greystar, giving him firsthand knowledge of single-family and multi-family property management that still shapes how he advises clients today.
PJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Data Analysis from Liberty University. That background in numbers shows up in how he works: methodical, detail-driven, and focused on finding the loan structure that actually fits the borrower’s goals, whether that’s a first home, an investment property, or a commercial acquisition.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, PJ is licensed across eleven states and works with borrowers on everything from residential purchases to real estate investment financing. Outside the office, he’s a dad, a die-hard sports fan, and always up for talking real estate with anyone who’ll listen.
